REPORTING TO: Manager – Credit MIS and Governance
RESPONSIBLE FOR: Business of Balance sheet and P&L management of the department
DEPARTMENT: Credit
HOURS OF WORK: 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday. Additional hours as required by workload.
PURPOSE OF JOB:
To assist in formulation and implementation of credit related MIS including regulatory reporting, and internal report generation for management and Board Credit Committee.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provision of daily accounts monitoring report
- Timely updating security register in alignment with IFRS 9 standard requirements
- Preparing monthly provision reports, both regulatory and IFRS 9 Provisions
- Produce periodic regulatory and IFRS provision forecasts
- Produce periodic Credit MI reports but not limited to: Management Credit Committee report, Board Credit Committee Report, Board paper, BOT NPL Management submission, Periodic BOT returns, Monthly computation of Modification Gain or Loss on restructured facilities, and General Ledger monthly reconciliation
- Attending Internal and External Auditors requirements with implementation of any queries raised during the audit period
- Ensuring monthly submission of Credit Data to Credit Reference Databank (CRD)
- Any other duties that may be assigned by the line manager or management
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Microsoft Excel in managing datasets with functions
- Strong analytical and risk assessment skills
- Technical skills
- Good communication skills
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Relevant professional qualifications in Banking, Finance or Accounts will be an added advantage
- Minimum 3 years working experience in Banking Industry
