What is the Form six JKT selection 2023?
The Form Six Jkt Selection 2023 – Majina Ya Waliochaguliwa Jkt 2023 is the list of Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) candidates for 2023 or form six leavers who have been selected to attend the National Service Training Program (JKT) by the Government of Tanzania According to the law (mujibu wa sheria jkt 2023).
What is the The National Service Training (JKT)?
The National Service Training (JKT) is a civic education and defence preparedness program for Tanzania form six graduates According to the law. National Service was established on 10th July 1963 emanating from the ideas of the Father of the Nation, the late President Julius K Nyerere who once said ” National Service is the demand made by the Nation on youth and youth response in fulfilling their duty in building the Nation”.
The purpose of the training was to, overcome the colonial legacy; To overcome ethnic and social cleavage; To imbue youth with patriotism and To Impart skills. National Service is operating under a set of laws passed by the parliament ‘National Service Act No. 16 of 1964 (Re 2002)’.
The JKT training program aimed at enhancing civic consciousness and defence preparedness in the youth by developing the ethics of service and patriotism while undergoing training. Its various components are specially designed to enhance the youth’s active contribution to the general welfare. Combining active reflection in a creative dynamic learning environment, it prepares the students into actual community service
Through the National Service, Tanzania is envisaged to be a country whose youths are well nurtured so as to constitute a productive part of the society which has a high sense of: –
- Confidence;
- Self-discipline;
- Patriotism;
- Brotherhood;
- Co-operation;
- Responsibility.
Form Six Jkt Selection Release date
The process of selecting the ACSEE candidates to join JKT training is usually conducted in the month of May each year, as soon as the completion of NECTA ACSEE examination. For the current year 2023 the JKT selection or post za jeshi 2023 are predicted to released before the end of the month of May 2023.
