NACTE AVN Application: NACTE (NACTVET) provides an awards verification service that enables Diploma Holders who aspire to Join Higher Education to verify their awards qualifications. The NACTE AVN service can verify that a person has received an award (skill set, certificate, diploma) through the NACTE registered college.
For a successful NACTVET- AVN NACTE application, an applicant should provide the full and correct information. The NACTE award verification number (AVN) confirms your qualification and classification. It may be required for educational institutions as proof of a former student’s attainment. The AVN number can be obtained online from the NACTE website through the NACTE Online Award Verification System (NAVS).

The NACTVET – AVN NACTE application is done through the NACTE Online Award Verification System (NAVS), For a successfully AVN application an applicant must have the following
- Valid and Working Email Address
- Valid Mobile Phone Number
How to Apply for AVN number
To apply for the AVN number you must be registered to NAVS. Follow the steps below to proceed with your application.
- Step 1: Vist the NACTE Online Award Verification System (NAVS) at : http://41.93.40.138:8080/navs/
- Step 2: On the NAVS click the registration link to register yourself on the System (NACTE AVN registration)
- Step 3: Register on the Online Award Verification System by filling in required information to proceed with registration.
- You must enter your initial qualification details. You must be holder of Ordinary Certificate of Secondary Education (CSEE), General Certificate of Engineering (GCE) or its equivalent recognised by NECTA, or National Vocational Award (NVA) 3 from VETA or its equivalent recognised by VETA or General Certificate of Engineering(GCE) from NECTA or Certificate of Education Under Mpango wa MUKA.
- Kindly answer the provided questions correctly and fill in required information to proceed with registration.

All registered users can login on the NACTE AVN system with ease. Follow the steps below to login on the AVN number application NACTE portal.
- Go to the NAVS website http://41.93.40.138:8080/navs/
- Click the Login link from the top left corner
- The NACTE AVN login will open
- Provide your username and password, enter the code displayed on the page and the Login button to access your account
